So last night I tried to ignore him and I thought it was working because he got really quiet. Then after a while I opened my eyes to see where he was and he was standing over my head, looking into my soul, and now I'm 45% convinced he's a dementor and he was preparing to practice the Kiss of Death.

~It Just Gets Stranger
That is a really cool record player.
ReplyDeleteI would go crazy if a dog woke me up every night so it could poop. That's one reason why I can't have a dog. Even if they are unbelievably cute.
Someone on Instagram ominously told me I should get a new record player so my records don't get "ruined." And he provided no further explanation. So I don't know.
DeleteMy dog Lucy sometimes wakes me up to pee during the night. She's 13 so I believe she really has to pee but she takes soooooooo long that I often can't fall back to sleep after. Meanwhile, she's asleep 0.3 seconds after we get back into bed. Stinker.
ReplyDeleteMr. Doodle is a perfect creature. Please post eleventy more pictures of him.
ReplyDeletePhew! I thought for sure this story was going to end up with dog poop on your bedroom floor or worse!
ReplyDeleteI loved the tiny toons flip cars! Also, I totally bought a Peanuts happy meal toy 2 years ago, and was definitely planning on going back for another one, but my tendency to avoid McDonalds food continues to hold strong thus leaving me with one Charlie Brown.
ReplyDeleteI had completely forgotten about the flip cars! I would STILL play with those if I had any.
DeleteHave you considered a crate at night for sweet little Duncan doodle? Our pup sleeps in a crate right next to our bed. Before that, he would wake us up a lot at night. The vet told us they look at their crate as their den and usually sleep much better in them. Our pup, Scout, seems to love going into his to sleep each night.
ReplyDeleteBUT WHAT ABOUT SNUGGLES!?
DeleteWe just snuggle a lot during the day when everyone is well rested :)
