I love the pictures and I love the post about the whole experience. I am jealous but so glad you go to go. And even in these pictures you still look like you belong on a beach somewhere playing sand volleyball. It must be the shades. And just your look. Don't know what it is.
ReplyDeleteLove all the pictures! Add a tux and a wedding gown and that picture of you and Brea in front of the temple would be perfect! :-) The other one looks totally like a honeymoon picture, too. :-)
ReplyDeleteAs for "Big Mama" - I agree. She's bigger, she's scarier, AND she has eyeballs! Of all the things to notice first, that is what I picked up on. I think that's why she's scarier. Do they still have the "make love not war" out in front?
Oh, how cool to be able to reconnect with "your people" and especially at the temple. I'm reminded of the reunion between the sons of Mosiah after they'd been out preaching to the Lamanites. There is such joy in finding out that "your people" are still your "brethren in the Lord!"
Oh, how I'd love to see any of "my people" again! Neither Blaine or I have ever been back to our mission areas, even though we both served stateside. Crazy, huh?

An intern in our ward just got called to the Ukraine. I got all excited for her to serve in a country with a temple and started to express how awesome that is- and then I remembered she has never been there without one. She'll not fully appreciate it, but it's going to be awesome to work in the wake of all those BLESSINGS!
