Office Tamivilles

After yesterday's post regarding the happenings inside Tamiville, one Stranger, Suzanne, sent in the above photo. She posted signs on the doors of the Tamivilles in her office because she "likes to make her coworkers wonder."

Which made me realize that what obviously must happen right this second is that everyone needs to discreetly do the same in their office and then send me pictures of your Tamiville and Leotrixtown (or whatever else) signs as soon as possible. Bonus points if you go to do this and find out that one of your coworkers beat you to it.

We can make change happen starting today. You guys. This is important.

  1. First, that is awesome.

Second, it is funny that the MEN's room is now named with a female name (albeit from a man's toe) and the WOMAN's room is named after a male rat.

All the more for nonStrangers (Familiars??) to wonder about.

Third, whenever I go to your blog, I am never disappointed. Even if you have not posted anything new since I last checked, I can just go read the new comments from old posts. I love the Stranger community.

Fourth, once up the barrel and twice down the side.

    1. I love the name you chose for nonStrangers. It's perfect. Familiars!

    2. Are Familiars like Muggles?

    3. Yeah, like Muggles. And let's get a roll going... How about Whichians? Not to be confused with witchians...

    4. Familiars are usually what the pets of a wizard or witch are called. So Harry's owl is his familiar.

    3. I plan to make this happen at the high school where I am a teacher...only trying to decide if I should use the students or the staff Tamivilles...or both?

  4. My coworker and I just started putting a Tamiville sign up and someone walked by and asked us if the Tamiville was out of order.

  5. I'm very excited to do this tomorrow to my sister in law who also loves to read your blog and is a teacher and has a boys and girls Tamiville in her classroom! Also we work with someone named Tami! This is too much fun

    1. Because I work with a Tami...I'm thinking it'd be better to choose a better name for my office restroom/bathroom/whatever other names were decided with yesterday's post.

  6. As much as I would LOVE to follow suit, there's only three of us in my leasing office, one of whom is named Tami, and I REALLY don't think she'd appreciate the use of her name in this context. She'd probably want to name it Tonyville anyway given how much more time I spend in there than she... 😜

  7. Alternative room-of-excrement naming options:

    - Queen of Color Country (QoCC for short, I'm thinking this should be reserved for the most terrifying of Tamivilles)
    - First Eye Funkytown
    - Trixietown
    - June Snapplecity (or Snappleosity?!)
    - Casper-crapper

....I feel like there is a veritable gold mine of amazing naming buried within the Stranger material and we're just scraping the surface here!

    2. Also please forgive my Queen of ColorS typo up there. I promise I'm not a Familiar!

    3. 1-town or 2-town. 3-town is when it's getting really bad...

  8. Tamiville sounds like a place where Tami can run free, wild, and uninhibited. But please, oh please, do not let Tami be barefoot in a public Tamiville.

  9. How do you think this would go over at an elementary school? Hmmmm .....
