BYU Crushes

So one Stranger, Cambry, just sent me a screen clipping of the below thing, informing me that I'm on some Facebook Page called "BYU Crushes," which is followed by thousands and on which people can anonymously post about their crushes. Apparently you click on the Google docs link at the top of the page and write the name of the person on whom you have a crush, including a small accompanying message, and then the administrator of the page posts that message on BYU Crushes. This one happened today:



Obviously I was very excited about this because WHAT IF PAUL SIMON?!?!?!?!?!?!

But then I got to thinking: our Stranger community hasn't invaded another Internet space obnoxiously for a while. So I think that instead of doing boring things like our jobs or homework or watching our children today, we should instead all click on the google docs link and anonymously submit our crushes on any of the following: The Queen of Colors; The First Eye; Leotrix: Trixy; Leotrixy; Jolyn Metro; Bob and Cathie; etc.

I don't know exactly how this works. And it seems like the Page only updates with new entries every few days. But if it is the case that BYU Crushes posts every crush submitted, we should be able to adequately bombard them with creative pronouncements of Stranger crushes in short order. If any do get posted, I'll be sure to share a smattering of them later on Stranger.

    Heck yeah. I'm in... this is hilarious. A friend of mine set up a similar page for her school in California... surprisingly she's still anonymous, too, after three years.

    What is Daniel's last name? I can't find it (i.e., I'm MUCH too lazy to scroll through all 104 entries that mention him in order to look for a last name) and I think you need - oh wait - no you don't - I'll proceed as previously intended . . . . .MUHAHAHAHA

      It's "Sowards," I think...

      I did an appropriate amount of Facebook creeping to find it. He has his own fan page on Facebook.
