Pictures from my Phone & Weekly Distractions

I hope you all had a wonderful week. I had the day off today because it's "Youth Day" in Palau. I'm not sure exactly what I was supposed to be celebrating, but I got to go kayaking with some friends. At one point we got incredibly close to a snake that was climbing a wall. I may have freaked out. As it turns out, I can move VERY fast in a kayak. I can also scream very loudly. I don't want to talk about it any further.

And now, your pictures and distractions:

On a boat to Pelelui to see some WWII stuff.

Sunrise from my apartment.

Daniel made a, like, 9 layered jello. It took several hours and he can't stop talking about it.

Jelly fish we spotted in one great spot while kayaking today.

Crap to distract you from whatever you're supposed to be doing:

The strangest thing on the entire Internet. Thanks, Tyffanee.

Children around the world with their most prized possessions.  Thanks, Matt.

For those who haven't seen it, still one of the funniest things on the whole Internet.

  3. So random not related to this post, but related to a previous one. My roommate and Daniel are conspiring about this leaving eggs out thing! I would say we should get them together because they are both single and awesome people but then they would spread egg diseases everywhere with their obvious lack of respect for the seriousness of leaving eggs out. The other day I made cookies and we had a bunch of people over and I forgot to bake the very last of the dough and it got left out on the counter for several hours. Raw dough with raw eggs in it! So I was just going to throw it away, but my roommate was very adamant about not throwing it away, she really loves those cookies and didn't want to waste it. I finally agreed to put it in the fridge so we could bake it later on one condition, that she promise she wouldn't eat the dough raw. I know her too well and I know that if there is raw cookie dough around she will eat it. (I was hoping she would forget about it and in a few days I would throw it away). The next day she told me that she had wanted to eat the cookie dough so bad when I left for work and the only reason she didn't was because she promised me!!! The only reason! geesh!

  4. The bathpics page reminds me of Hannah's Wonder's, only her pictures aren't taken in a tub, and they're slightly funnier. Enjoy :)

  5. You and Daniel have the cutest little bromance ever. That kayaking picture proves it.

  6. I have a friend that makes that jello too. Just like the eggs, it must stay refrigerated...just saying.

  7. Awesome sunrise picture.

My only critique of the Jello is that it appears there are no shredded carrot contents. Alright, I lied. What demented soul thought Jello and carrots would be a good combination?

  8. There are some things I just wish I could unfind. The bathtub site is one of them. Why are some of the people severely missing teeth?

  14. I'm obviously the only follower with ocd because the jello salad has 11 layers. I know that because, yes, I actually counted them.

Love the Lutheran potluck comment!! Bahahaha!!!
