Pictures from my Phone & Weekly Distractions

Happy Friday, all. Tomorrow night (Saturday) we'll be at The Porch here in Salt Lake City. The show starts at 9:00 PM (DON'T WORRY! IT'S NOT A SCHOOL NIGHT!). I hope to see some of you there. Tickets and info link is here. Also, here's the Facebook link in case you want to see a very awkward picture of me from a prior show.

And now, your Pictures and Distractions:
My love/hate relationship with my niece continues as she refuses to talk to me while waiting in a line at a local theme park.

I brought home this beautiful piece of furniture last weekend.

My backyard ain't so bad. Ah, Salt Lake City.

My painting from L'viv is framed!

With the love/hate niece on a kid-friendly roller coaster.

  2. Our BYU comments are never gonna show up are they? Been checking every day. My uber cool message will never be seen by ANYONE!

    BTW, I love that painting.

So in the second picture...you're talking about that little tiny box on the left of the TV right? I knew it. It's awesome. Internet high five!

  3. It hasn't been updated since June 9th ---- maybe because it's summer it gets updated less?

    1. Ah, I see. I didn't even look at the dates. Yeah it seems they only do the updates once a week or so. Hopefully next week. I want to read what everyone put up there.

    1. Ugh. I am the worst person ever. Instagramming now.

    2. And for those of us who don't have "the instagram" if that even is a real thing. I'm pretty sure you guys are just making stuff up at this point.

    3. Lee, Instagram is just a cookie. Whenever I say that I'm "Instagramming," it just means that I'm eating a cookie. That's all. Carry on.

    4. In that case, I could really go for some Instagramming right now!

Also, the embroidery is beautiful, but could really use a light ironing! (Ask Daniel what an iron is, Eli.)

  8. Please tell me you'll have someone taking a video again for all of us who can't make it to The Porch.

  9. I had to share the "World's Worst Orchestra" - thanks, Kim. But Eli, what is sacrilegious about the Paul Simon cover? Seriously, you do realize that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" AND that Paul Simon, being a mere mortal like the rest of us, will one day be gone, and his music will be played and sung by others. That boy was quite talented, and obviously shares your love of Paul Simon. If no one but THAT BOY ever plays any Paul Simon music once there is no Paul Simon, then at least we will still be "graced" with the music. Please don't get all judgey on us. It makes your hair go flat. Just sayin'.

    1. The flaw in your argument is the following: Paul Simon is not a mortal being.
