Pictures from my Phone & Weekly Distractions

So the other day I wrote that post about how SweatBlock has completely changed my life since parents have stopped pulling their children away from me in public. Then SweatBlock saw the post and reached out, creating a promo code for Strangers who order it. Then at least one of you (HI LEE!!!!) accused me of selling out. WHICH I WOULD HAVE GLADLY DONE HAD SOMEONE TOLD ME HOW BEFOREHAND. But you guys. I didn't have the foresight to sell out. I WISH I HAD SOLD OUT. I had never communicated with SweatBlock before writing that post.

But I thought you would be interested to know that SweatBlock emailed me today to say that already the response from that post in terms of sales has been almost as good as the response they received when they appeared on Dr. Oz. Which can lead one only to conclude that you Strangers are sweaty beasts.

And now, your Pictures and Distractions. And yes. I am in every picture. I just like myself that much.

With my best friend, Corey, in San Diego.

  1. So are the followers of this blog called strangers? They could also be called ELItes.

    1. Shut up! Where the hell were you when I was coming up with things?!?

    2. I don't think the Stranger community could adjust to a change like that though. Even though it is a lovely tribute to Eli. It's like a compliment saying he's elite, and also that he's Eli.

    3. How about the Stranger ELItes? Make a shirt!

    4. I read this in the scripture tense. As in Nephites... Lamanites... ELItes... *sigh* #missionin5days

  3. How is it that EVERYONE you know, including yourself, is beautiful?! And their hair is great too...but not as great as yours, of course.

  4. Loved the Little Mermaid thing. I have hated that movie forever. As a parent, it makes me crazy that Ariel DELIBERATELY disobeys time and again, causes so much trouble, over a guy she doesn't know, but is sure she is in love with, puts the entire sea in danger, almost gets her Father killed, and is just a constant disaster. And then, Daddy APOLOGIZES TO HER!!!! WHAT??? And, if a guy is going to leave you because someone else has a nice voice, then, go back to the sea honey, he isn't for you.

PS: For goodness sake. Your friends, male and female are all gorgeous. Do they have to go through some sort of beauty competition or application process to be your friends? Your hair is so much better than theirs, though.

    1. I agree, the Little Mermaid is the worst. Ariel always seemed so whiny. Doesn't she realize that mermaids are an endangered species so she should just take one for the team and stay a mermaid?

    2. Hahaha. Yea Ariel, JUST TAKE ONE FOR THE TEAM!!!!

    3. I've always thought that, too!! This is what I posted as a comment on that "Overthinking" blog:
You left out my biggest complaint about this movie!! Arial is a rebellious girl who directly disobeys her father, makes a deal with "the devil" and has to be rescued at the risk of his entire kingdom, and whose actions are the reason her father ends up a prisoner of Ursula. After his rescue and reinstatement as king, instead of experiencing some sort of penance for her stupid, selfish, immature actions, her father grants her wish to be human and go off and marry her prince! The moral of the story? Selfish actions lead to living "happily ever after". Ugh.

  7. So what's the real story with Ms. Hannah. She looks so nice and normal in all your pictures, but she hangs out with you at least once every week! That's not normal. Granted if given the chance I'd hang out with you ever day, but I know I'm not normal. I just have a thing for perfect hair...
