Pictures from my Phone & Weekly Distractions

When I was in Spanish class in 8th grade Senorita Legos made us watch the film "E.T" in Spanish and the only thing I remember from that day is when E.T. says in a super creepy voice, "E.T. telefono mi casa!" And to this day, that is the most useful Spanish I know. Well, that and the words from the song "el es no gatos en Amerika" from "American Tale." You kids are too young to remember those films. In any language.

I don't know why I told you that.

Daddy isn't mad. He's just tired.

And now, your Pictures & Distractions:
I took the road as far as it would let me and Paul Cyclemon go.

Jailbirds.

Look. I used tools. Trying to destroy the backyard pond: AKA, the bane of my existence.

Sometimes Matt says "y'all."

Matt in puppy heaven.

  2. I don't believe you actually used that tool - I think you posed with your perfectly quaffed hair for that photo opp and then let Matt do the hard work.

    1. You might be surprised to hear this, but I actual did at least half of the labor on this one. Adam did the rest. Matt mostly watched us in between playing with puppies. HE'S SO LAZY!

  4. The only thing I remember learning from Spanish class was a little song and it goes something like this... (To the tune of La Cucaracha)

    Yo soy un gato
    Yo soy un gato
    Nooooo me gusta trabajar

    Translation:
    I am a cat
    I am a cat
I do not like to work

Classic. Try not to get it stuck in your head.

  8. WHAAATTT???!!! You're not one of the Internets most influential people??? How is this even possible?

  9. I know that I'm "news-phobic" but that must have spilled over into "interwebs-phobic". Of the 30 people listed, I am only vaguely familiar with 7 of the names; I have interest in following 1 of the 7, and I have deep respect for 1 of the 7.

No Eli or The Bloggess or Wil Wheaton? - that list did nothing for me, personally.
