Pictures from my Phone & Weekly Distractions

I'm in a car now with Disney Prince Hair Brandt, pointed toward St. George. I'm not driving! Let's all calm down. I don't text while driving OR blog while driving. I only eat, brush my teeth, change my clothes, and occasionally nap. You guys, the half Ironman begins in about 36 hours. I'm mostly freaking out because of the race but also kind of freaking out because Brandt just told me we are out of gas and I haven't seen civilization for a LONG time.

And now, your Pictures and Distractions.
Rebecca bought this lamp for me. Actually, first she bought a different lamp and I told her I wanted this one instead. And she had to venture back out into the rain for it. BECAUSE I'M THAT KIND OF PERSON.

I made pumpkin soup and bread on a rainy weekend day.

Matt painting an onion at Art Night this week. I asked him if he would paint me wearing the Heart of the Ocean next week. He just stared at me and then went back to work. I think he's excited.

And for Art Night I made blueberry banana bread and gossiped on the phone.

Rebecca, our pet lamb, and I posed for our family picture just before Rebecca ABANDONED me for Paris this week.

  1. OMG...umm...don't panic or anything but...uh...umm....WTF HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR!?!?!?

    GASP!

In other news, that Funny Flight Attendant Speech was awesome. I'm not on facebook so when I sent it to a friend they were all like "dude...that was soooo last month". Also the link from Dawn about exercising was cool too. Haven't got to the others yet.

And lastly...GOOD LUCK IN THE IRONMAN!!!! You can do it man...you shall prevail!

  3. Yeah...I know Rebecca. She was in my ward growing up and she was my sister Becky's friend and now everything you've said about her makes a whole lot of sense. Also, some of our best friends in Albuquerque knew you. Well... The husband did. Nathan Anderson. He's a lawyer. Then there was that one time I saw Daniel in Santa fe... All very strange.

  4. We're going to miss Rebecca... And possibly you if you die during the Ironman. So, you know, don't die or anything.

  9. Also, pet lambs should always be named Dmitri. Just sayin'

That may or may not be a joke from Before Your Time, but still.

  11. Good luck on the Ironman this weekend. I think you'll do quite well, despite the fact it's going to be really hot.

  12. I'm not sure if the chicken glasses would protect you or just make the chicken seem more terrifying.
