Pictures from my Phone & Weekly Distractions

It's been raining in Salt Lake for eleventy days and #We'reThankfulForTheMoisture but the problem is I now have a mushroom garden in my entire lawn and it's stressing me out because I'm no farmer. So the other day I was out in the front yard scooping them up to throw them away and Skylar saw me doing it so he shouted at me "DON'T EAT THOSE THEY ARE POISON."

It was one of those moments where I suddenly got some unexpected insight on how little he thinks of my judgment and general knowledge.

My momma made me a quilt for my birthday.



Renley posted this on his Instagram and I've looked at it eleventy times a day ever since.



Crap to distract you from whatever you're supposed to be doing:

 I spent a very sad amount of time writing a full recap of Saturday's Warrior, possibly the greatest film in cinematic history.

Apparently LDS Millionaire Bachelor is now a thing. Because Utah hates us.

Also, Meg wrote about the new Bachelor guys as if they lived in Utah and it's just spectacular.

On Hive Mind we've been talking about the Harry Potter books and movies.

A new rap verse for Fly Me To The Moon that I'm a little obsessed with today. Thanks, Amanda.

A truly wonderful Craigslist ad. Thanks, Brian.

    WAIT. DID SATURDAY'S WARRIOR END JUST LIKE THAT?!

    Because they took a LONG time explaining the beginning and really did not set me up for an abrupt ending.

    Or maybe your liver failed and you were forced to stop writing for hospital treatments.

    Don't forget the most important part of that brutal slap that his dad dropped, which is that while Jimmy went flying, he went the wrong way. His dad was slapping to the right, but his head and body went rolling left. Classic.

    Guilty of knowing and singing every line in Jimmy's Who Am I song. To my parents credit we never actually owned Saturday's Warrior. so I was spared until one of my friends introduced the catchy cheesy ridiculous songs into my head.

    Also, I still have no idea what the sword is about. Maybe it's Jimmy's way of making out of a terrible plot like King Arthur and the sword in the stone.
