Pictures from my Phone & Weekly Distractions

Hello. Let me usher you into the greatest weekend of the year. PIONEER DAY WEEKEND!!!!!!

You guys. This is a magical year because Pioneer Day falls on Sunday so the State of Utah observes it on Monday, WHICH MEANS that Pioneer Day is basically two days this year. Also please don't forget that it's Tami's birthday and she expects to get a call from every one of you. Don't test her on this. She has anger issues.

Happy Pioneer Day(s). I love you.

And now, your Pictures & Distractions:

  1. I don't know about anyone else but for me the "Dogs wearing wedding dresses" went to the same link as "Dogs wearing people clothes" . . . . I'm terribly disappointed - it my have ruined my Friday.

    2. Yes - you did! And it's a VERY Pioneer word to use! Bravo!

  2. I'm still annoyed that a lot of Utah cities are doing their Pioneer day celebrations on the 25th. Most of the businesses I know that close on the 24th when it falls on a weekday do not close on the following Monday if it falls on a weekend. So I've got to work on Monday and will miss out on the festivities. I guess this isn't even the great state of God Bless Utah any more. Stupid North Logan City.

  3. I watched the banana song at 2 am and now I'm questioning my life decisions and having an existential crisis.

When the cheerleaders shouted a shortened version of it at high school football games it was much less creepy...

  4. We were in Utah last Monday! It is just beautiful out there, so very different from Minnesota, but I guess we should have done better research.

  5. I'm really disappointed there are no pictures of mastiffs or pit bulls in wedding dresses.
